Ingredients

  • 450 grams lean ground beef
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon g garlic powder
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 300 grams sweet potato
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon paprika
  • 250 grams lettuce, shredded
  • 180 grams cherry tomatoes, sliced in half
  • 1⁄2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 100 grams, cheese, shredded
  • 60 grams light mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon pickle relish
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

  1. 1
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. 2
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set it aside.
  3. 3
Wash and cube the potatoes, then place them in a bowl. Toss with olive oil, followed by the spices, until evenly coated. (You can also cut them into wedges or fries, but cubed pieces tend to coat more evenly.)
  4. 4
Spread the potatoes on the prepared baking sheet and roast for about 30 minutes, or until fork-tender.
  5. 5
While the potatoes cook, heat a skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef.
  6. 6
Cook until browned, then stir in the spices. For extra richness, you can add a tablespoon of butter—this is optional.
  7. 7
Once everything is ready, assemble your bowl by adding a base of lettuce, then topping with tomatoes, beef, sweet potatoes, onions, and cheese. Pickles make a great addition as well. Let the beef and potatoes cool slightly before adding so they don’t wilt the lettuce.
  8. 8
Whisk together the sauce ingredients, drizzle over the top, and serve.
